COMMITTEE REPORTS
Membership - Julia Hughes stated we have lots and need lots. To achieve this, we have an event at the Little Rock Zoo on June 8 and 9 (Zoo Days). We will set up a table from 9 am - 5 pm. Julia sent around a sign up sheet to work the table. It was agreed that it will be good to have a presence there.

Road Trips - Kevin Figley mentioned fundraising to raise money to provide snacks and water. He is still looking at an NHL exhibition game road trip.

Member-at-Large - Becky Salewski was not in attendance, but Ray discussed the importance of signing the attendance sheet each meeting. Becky keeps up with this and it helps in determining who has been present and is eligible for running for office next year (see bylaws). It also ensures we have correct addresses and email addresses for everyone. Amanda Wylie sent around the player apartment inventory list on Becky's behalf. If you can provide any of the needed items, please contact Becky. This list will be maintained and updated on this web site.

Junior Boosters - Amanda discussed contests will be held for Junior Boosters in the upcoming season; her committee will plan some things this summer.

Old Business
Ray thanks everyone who inventoried all the apartment supplies.

New Business
Will Hornburg from the Front Office announced that a press conference will be held on June 12 to announce the season tickets sale. Prices have been decreased. Current Season Ticket Holders will be receiving something in the mail about this shortly. He also discussed having a kids club (Cubs Club) for children under 12. They are in need of sponsors for a banner and t-shirt.

Ray discussed having a cookout later in the summer and having Ted's "Headbanger Band" play.

The Annual Booster Club Jamboree will be held in Greenville this year. If anyone is interested in attending, please contact Ray. For more information about the Jamboree, got to www.grrrowlboosters.org.

The Bylaws committee will meet after the membership meeting.

Ray discussed setting up a RiverBlades table at the remaining Twisters games.

Next month there will be the usual Saturday meeting (where all business will be conducted) but there will be an alternate information meeting on a Sunday at the Skatium for anyone who would like to attend.

Ray discussed with Coach about purchasing at least one goalie mask idea for the goalie to wear; then we can have an auction or raffle at the end of the year. Everyone approved idea.

Q&A with COACH
Coach Cichocki conducted a question and answer session.

Coach began by discussing the two recent trades: Shawn Mamane (New Orleans) and Dube (Reading). He went on to say that we are one of the more stable franchise in the south; we'll know more later after the owner's meeting in June.

He is starting to recruit and getting lists together; drafting jr players, etc. He has been in contact with several of the players from last year and getting their thoughts on returning. He mentioned trying to advance players at the upper level and has been talking to the next level about some of our players.

Coach explained the current veteran rule. In the past, there was a $9,500 per week cap and the vet rule was 240 regular season games. Next year it will be a $10,000 and 250 and over regular season games.

Equity is excited and they are behind the RiverBlades from the beginning of the season this year. Equity is promoting the game year round and he has talked with them about having the RiverBlades bus at different locations every Sat in Sept. and conducting mini-clinics.

Coach said he would look at affiliations at the June owners meeting.

When responding to the question about having an NHL exhibition game at Alltel, he sais that would be Alltel's call.

Coach discussed having a special 3rd night - everyone was in agreement that was a good idea.

OTHER
Will mentioned that anyone interested in watching men's hockey locally could come out to the Skatium on Sundays at 7:45 p.m. and Monday nights at 8:30 p.m.

Next Meeting TBA.
